We need to backup our central storage server to a remote datacenter and connection can be slow sometime due to 'SSH encryption overhead' . Ncat is the only solution that we find useful that can speed up the transfer.
For example, how long do we need to replicate 1TB disk? |

It is faster if you are using SSD drive for your central storage server and 1GPS - 10 GBPS connection. The nearer your virtual server is to the remote datacenter, the better.

It definitely going to take a day or more. That is a alot of data to transfer over the internet. Another solution is send your physical disk to the datacenter and connect the disk to your server.
